My name is Shelley Jones and I am the founder & owner of Switch Stance Surf & Skate. We are a small locally owned surf and skate shop in Papamoa and we specialize in surf skates, surfboards & accessories. We have shortboards, minimals, longboards, hybrids, fishes, skateboards, surf skates, scooters, roller skates accessories, hand planes & body boards.
I have been surfing for 30 years and I would proudly admit that I know my stuff when it comes to surfing! Surfing has been my first love from a very young age and it will be my last love. I was born and raised in South Africa, along the Durban beach front. I starting achieving good results at a young age due to dedication, motivation, a surfing family and excellent equipment. I surfed in the 1996 World Junior Champs and represented my country and made it to the quarter finals amongst the world’s best surfers.
I love surfing and want to see you stoked just as much as me, so let me help you, feel what I feel! I know boards, I know surfing, I know waves and I know products.

Our goal is to get surfers & skaters, potential surfers & skaters and experienced surfers & skaters on the right equipment. To me it’s not about getting a sale, it’s about YOU and getting YOU on the right board. For some reason, if I can’t help you, I will happily refer you to someone who can.
We provide top quality surfboards to customers keeping the prices realistic & honest. I strive to give you the best customer service experience possible and have returning customers who can vouch for my perfection. My job is to make your experience easy, pleasurable and satisfactory. We are honest and reliable!
